The safety of our pupils and families is of the utmost importance to us and we need to try and keep everyone safe during this difficult time. We will be creating online lessons, video links and e-mail resources for your children to keep them practising the exam and festival work they have all been working so hard towards. We are hoping to reopen after Easter but we will continue to keep you informed. Stay safe and we hope to see you all very soon. All our love, EMPAS

Well done to Olivia Emson who will be starting Hammond Associates in September 2018 and continue with Denman Musical Theatre associates for another year.

From September 2018, we are welcoming back to EMPAS the wonderful Louise Taylor. Louise taught for EMPAS many years ago and will be returning to teach from Miami, USA. Louise has an impressive biography, which you can view in our ‘Staff Profiles’ page.

We also have some very sad news, Judith Robertson who has been part of EMPAS faculty for over 30 years will be leaving us from September. We are saddened by this news but can’t thank Judith enough for all her help, support and love over the many many years! Anyone that knows Judith will know how much of a miss she will be, we are hoping she will still come to visit us all at EMPAS from time to time! Thank you again Judith, for everything!

Well done to EMPAS students who are performing in various pantomimes across the region at the end of the year. We have children in Aladdin, Gateshead Stadium, Peter Pan, Whitley Bay Playhouse and Cinderella, Tyne Theatre.

Well done to Hannah Elliott who has been nominated for yet another NODA (NATIONAL OPERATIC & DRAMATIC ASSOCIATION) for her performance as Jennifer in Paint Your Wagon at Tyne Theatre, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
